Maria Mushtaq

Maria joined the financial services industry in 2018 after graduating with a first-class degree in Law from the University of Leicester. Having completed her LPC and a year of training contract at Allen & Overy; Maria became disenchanted with the legal sector and decided to make a career change move by applying to an adviser support role in an IFA recommended by a friend. A year turned into five and she has not looked back.

Outside of work

Outside of work, Maria likes to watch and participate in various sports including Boxing, Cricket, Football and Hockey. On the rainy days, she likes to stay cosy indoors with a few good reads like Beyond Good & Evil, Sapiens and Das Kapital.

Qualifications

Maria has completed one of the CII diploma exams and is continuing her studies to complete the remaining exams and obtain her Diploma by next year.
