Mark Pate
Financial Planner & Partner
Mark is a founding partner of Holden & Partners and is able to draw upon more than 30 years of financial planning experience. He deals with a select group of clients, some of whom he has known for over 25 years, advising them on all areas of their financial planning.
Mark specialises in building client portfolios for their retirement, and managing income streams when clients do eventually retire. Mark prides himself on the close working relationships he builds with his clients. The fact that Mark has so many long-standing clients is a testament to his advisory skills.
Outside of work
Mark enjoys his home life in ‘Hove by the sea’ and divides his time between there and London. He confesses to being a Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket holder. Mark is a keen golfer, although he laments his current 11 handicap as he remembers fondly the halcyon days playing to a 4 handicap.
Importantly
All financial advisers in the UK must be registered on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register and hold a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). In an age where financial scams pose a real threat, it’s important to make sure you don’t take financial advice from anyone who doesn’t appear on the FCA Register or hold a valid SPS.
